Build volume of the Creality K1 Max

Build plate 300 × 300 mm, height 300 mm. Keeping a 5 mm margin, each part must fit in 295 × 295 × 295 mm. Parts can be turned on the plate, so SplitSTL also picks the orientation: a long, flat object can reach about 407 mm along the diagonal.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum print size of the Creality K1 Max?

The build volume of the Creality K1 Max is 300 × 300 × 300 mm. Anything bigger has to be scaled down or split into several parts.

How many parts for a cosplay helmet on the K1 Max?

A helmet of about 24 × 28 × 30 cm needs at least 2 parts on the K1 Max with a grid split. The natural-joint split of SplitSTL Pro can follow the helmet’s design lines instead.

How do I join the printed parts?

SplitSTL drills aligned pin holes (printable pins included) or magnet pockets, and engraves each part’s number on its cut face. An illustrated assembly guide comes with the export.
