Build volume of the Bambu Lab A1 mini

Build plate 180 × 180 mm, height 180 mm. Keeping a 5 mm margin, each part must fit in 175 × 175 × 175 mm. Parts can be turned on the plate, so SplitSTL also picks the orientation: a long, flat object can reach about 237 mm along the diagonal.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum print size of the Bambu Lab A1 mini?

The build volume of the Bambu Lab A1 mini is 180 × 180 × 180 mm. Anything bigger has to be scaled down or split into several parts.

How many parts for a cosplay helmet on the A1 mini?

A helmet of about 24 × 28 × 30 cm needs at least 8 parts on the A1 mini with a grid split. The natural-joint split of SplitSTL Pro can follow the helmet’s design lines instead.

How do I join the printed parts?

SplitSTL drills aligned pin holes (printable pins included) or magnet pockets, and engraves each part’s number on its cut face. An illustrated assembly guide comes with the export.
