How do I convert an OBJ or 3MF to STL?

Why is my model tiny in the slicer?
It was probably exported in metres or inches. Pick the right file units: the model is converted to millimetres.
Are colours and textures kept?
No: only the geometry is converted, which is what slicers need to print.
