FAQ

How do I price a 3D print?

Add filament, electricity and machine wear, add a margin for failures and labour, then your profit margin.

How many metres are in a 1 kg spool?

About 330 m of 1.75 mm PLA. It depends on the material density and diameter.

Do I need to calibrate e-steps?

Rarely on recent printers. Do it after changing the extruder or if prints are under-extruded.
