Build volume of the Bambu Lab P1S

Build plate 256 × 256 mm, height 256 mm. Keeping a 5 mm margin, each part must fit in 251 × 251 × 251 mm. Parts can be turned on the plate, so SplitSTL also picks the orientation: a long, flat object can reach about 344 mm along the diagonal.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum print size of the Bambu Lab P1S?

The build volume of the Bambu Lab P1S is 256 × 256 × 256 mm. Anything bigger has to be scaled down or split into several parts.

How many parts for a cosplay helmet on the P1S?

A helmet of about 24 × 28 × 30 cm needs at least 4 parts on the P1S with a grid split. The natural-joint split of SplitSTL Pro can follow the helmet’s design lines instead.

How do I join the printed parts?

SplitSTL drills aligned pin holes (printable pins included) or magnet pockets, and engraves each part’s number on its cut face. An illustrated assembly guide comes with the export.
